The connection of the Casa Leitão com Fátima gained particular prominence with the manufacture of the Crown of Our Lady in 1942. The Crown of Our Lady of Fátima became the most remarkable Portuguese piece of jewellery of the twentieth century and, at the same time, the most well-known in the world.

Since then pieces and collections dedicated to the Fátima theme have been created in gold, silver and precious stones. These are now available in the Fátima Jewels online shop and can be shipped worldwide.

The online shop is being launched in the year that the movie Fátima is released in the United States. This major production was filmed in Portugal and tells the story of the three little shepherds and the visions of the Virgin Mary at Cova da Iria, in 1917. As part of the centenary commemorations of the apparitions, Leitão & Irmão has had the honour of collaborating in this great production featuring actors like Sônia Braga, Harvey Keitel, Lúcia Moniz and Joaquim de Almeida.
