Designed on the occasion of 100th anniversary of Fátima and of the canonization of Pope John Paul II, the Rosary of the New Millennium, of sterling silver and rock crystal, represents the four sets of Mysteries that invoke the new composition of the rosary.

Hail Marys
The beads of rock-crystal, a natural stone of particular luminosity, evoke the Luminous Mysteries introduced by John Paul II in 2002
(Apostolic Letter Rosarium Mariae Virginae, 16-10-2002).

Our Fathers (included between the medallions)
Symbolise the passage of each of the four sets of mysteries that make up the entire rosary.

Joyful Mysteries (Mysteries of Joy)
Angel’s wings: symbolize the Annunciation of the Angel, one of the five Joyful Mysteries.

Luminous Mysteries (Mysteries of Light)
Water: symbolizes the Baptism of Jesus, one of the five Luminous Mysteries.

Sorrowful Mysteries (Mysteries of Pain)
Crown of thorns: symbolizes the crowning with the crown of thorns, one of the five Sorrowful Mysteries.

Glorious Mysteries (Mysteries of Glory)
Star: symbolizes the descent of the Holy Spirit, one of the five Glorious Mysteries.
